Weber Group Has A New Look

For one week every November, the most dedicated and respected themed entertainment professionals come together for arguably the most important trade show of the year – IAAPA. During this show, amongst colleagues, we thought it was a perfect time to launch Weber Group’s new identity. Starting with our new logo, which is vastly different from our old one.

Evolving with a Rebrand

While the former logo, a signature penned by our founders Tom and Donny Weber’s father, holds sentimental value, it quite simply was hard to read. Fast forward 35 years and Weber Group still operates with the same established family values at the heart of everything we do but our company has evolved. And that evolution has taken shape in a rebrand.

The new mark is created from two sets of shapes which represent both the theming and traditional construction sides of Weber Group. Yes, we also design and build first-class housing environments hence the shoutout to our booth this year – IAAPA BOOTH #665 – designed to represent the deconstructed framework of a building.

Back to the logo – when the logos two colors and shapes come together, they form a third color, indicative of the combined efforts of Weber Group in totality.

The fundamental shapes build the logo from the Group, as Weber does for their clients. The overlap created by the two colors gives the mark a sense of depth, reflecting the process of our 2D designs becoming fully dimensional.
It’s a change. But we love it. Thanks to our agency, Fieldtrip, for helping us arrive at a symbol that reflects who Weber Group is today – A dynamic full service Design-Build company that relentlessly pursues the ideas and innovations to connect people with experiences… and we have fun doing it.
