Adaptive Reuse: Historic Character Meets Modern Living

Housed in converted paint warehouses, Painters Row Apartments brings new life to historic structures in Louisville’s Portland neighborhood. The project features 71 Class B apartment units with exposed interior brick, original wood beams, and restored windows that preserve the building’s industrial charm.

Weber Construction worked in close partnership with Weyland Ventures to restore and adapt the buildings, blending preservation with functionality. Designed with future growth in mind, the development also includes shell space for mixed-use tenants. The project was financed using historic tax credits and Opportunity Zone incentives, combining preservation with revitalization.
