Weber Creative was proud to help launch the Kentucky Bourbon Trail Welcome Center at the Frazier History Museum. We handled the design, build, and installation of the Spirit of Kentucky Exhibit—a bold, permanent experience that marks the official start of the Bourbon Trail.
This immersive exhibit blends scenic design, hands-on interactives, and digital storytelling. As a result, visitors can connect deeply with the history, craft, and culture of bourbon. From floor-to-ceiling murals to tactile displays and media features, every element brings the spirit of Kentucky to life.
The exhibit is divided into three themed areas: Enchanted, Gracious, and Refined. First, Enchanted explores how Kentucky’s natural resources make bourbon possible. Next, Gracious highlights the warmth and tradition of bourbon hospitality. Finally, Refined shows bourbon’s impact on advertising, collecting, and pop culture.
Along the way, guests can explore interactive features like aroma stations, a digital library table, and historic artifacts. One highlight is the Bottle Hall, which will eventually display every bourbon brand made in Kentucky.
Visitors enter through a covered-bridge walkway that features sweeping 4K footage of Kentucky’s iconic landscapes. Inside, the Welcome Center offers maps, a concierge desk, and trip-planning tools—helping guests start their Bourbon Trail journey with confidence.
Throughout the project, Weber combined scenic artistry, fabrication, and storytelling to create a space that is both educational and memorable. Most importantly, it celebrates bourbon as more than a drink—it tells the story of a place, a people, and a proud tradition.
