Weber Creative, working with DreamWorks and the Hettema Group, led the design-build and supervised the installation of a large scope of highly themed water features located around the Lazy River and throughout DreamWorks Water Park.
One of the highlights is a giant Shrek photo op near the entrance, where a 500-gallon-per-minute geyser sprays under Shrek’s inner tube, lofting him high into the air and creating the perfect backdrop for lasting family memories. Other custom features include large dragon lanterns that gently shower water into the river, spraying dragon heads, themed water jars, Shrek’s Bathtub Bubbles, log water curtains, tippy bucket trees, log wave jets, icicle-themed pipe works, cascading iceberg waterfalls, and panda-themed scuppers.
Weber also created the launch station for the world’s largest indoor hydro magnetic coaster. Themed around How to Train Your Dragon, the station features a giant Viking timber slingshot and serves as the ride’s starting point. These attractions showcase Weber Group’s ability to blend creative storytelling with engineering to bring DreamWorks Water Park to life.
Weber Creative proudly partnered with the city of El Dorado, Arkansas & the Murphy Arts District to design, build & install this playground & splash pad as a family-friendly destination for the community.
